Due to Covid 19, all of our tours are Private, which only enhances the experience! Once you book, the tour is closed to the public. We have a Min of 2 and a Max of 10. Given that you will be among your own group, masks are optional and your choice. We will ask that you distance from the Guide. The guide will have a Microphone that you can hear him/her.
We are conducting tours 4 days a week. Tues to Sat. On Saturdays, Jay The Banana Foodie will be the guide. Jay Miller is a local celeb food blogger and has a great Podcast, “Savor Life”. It is about all that is Ocala.

Ocala’s downtown square is rich in history, architecture, and Horse Fever horses (don’t worry, they don’t bite). The tour takes visitors and locals alike to four of Ocala’s most popular, non-franchise, still-a-secret restaurants for a taste of their chefs’ signature creations.
There are so many excellent dining choices downtown that Ocala Food Walks frequents. Here are just a few hints about the tour and range of cuisines our visitors get to experience…Sink your teeth into fried green tomatoes for a taste of Southern home cooking. Close your eyes and pretend you are on a Greek island being fed feta and olives. Get a taste of NOLA with Cajun cooking. Become a surfer with a beachy taco. Experience death by chocolate at the confectionery. Viva some Pate Masion (by the way, the French are really nice in Ocala), and with all the battles, fires and Native Americans that have walked on the route, you might see a ghost or two!
